Oversized Freight Delivery Agreement

Requirements & Acknowledgment

These Terms apply to the delivery of select large-format Lumacast fire features. By proceeding with the purchase, you ("the Client" or "Customer") acknowledge and agree to the following Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Affected Models
 All 62" and 72" round models, as well as all 92" linear models, are subject to these delivery requirements.

2. Onsite Equipment Required
 The crated dimensions of these models exceed the capacity of the freight carrier's liftgate. As a result, additional equipment — such as a forklift or equivalent material handler — is required at the delivery site to offload the crate from the trailer bed. The freight carrier will not provide offloading assistance for these models. The Client is responsible for arranging appropriate equipment and personnel ahead of the scheduled delivery.

The equipment used must have sufficient capacity and reach to safely lift and lower the crate without dropping, jostling, or otherwise impacting the contents. Each crate is equipped with ShockWatch 2 Indicators that activate only under substantial force. If an indicator is triggered during offloading, the resulting damage is the responsibility of the Client, as activation indicates the crate was handled with enough force to compromise the contents — independent of its condition upon arrival.

We recommend inspecting and photographing the crate — including the ShockWatch indicators, which turn red when triggered by impact — before it is removed from the truck bed.

3. Delivery Coordination
 Lumacast will reach out to confirm readiness before shipping the crate from our warehouse. We can accommodate reasonable short-term storage if additional time is needed; however, due to the nature of our logistics and fulfillment process, the crate must ship within 5 days of our readiness notification. If additional hold time is required beyond this window, the freight carrier may be able to hold the crate at their distribution hub for a fee, which is the responsibility of the Client.

The Client must ensure the delivery site is accessible to a standard LTL truck and that offloading equipment is staged and operational at the time of arrival. Failed deliveries due to lack of equipment or site access may result in redelivery fees, storage charges, or return freight costs, which are the responsibility of the Client.

4. Acknowledgment
By completing this purchase, the Client confirms they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms;
  • Will arrange for appropriate offloading equipment at the delivery site;
  • Accept responsibility for any redelivery, storage, or return freight costs incurred due to failure to meet these requirements.
