FAQ

Why should I buy my next feature from LUMACAST?

At LUMACAST, we take pride in the quality of our work. Each of our pieces is individually handcrafted by our team in San Diego, California. We work with a proprietary blend of locally-sourced aggregates to create a lighter weight fiber-reinforced concrete, which makes our products incredibly durable and still easily manageable. Before our features leave our warehouse, they are hand finished and closely inspected, then sealed with the highest quality, food-safe sealer. We want to make sure that your new investment will provide a place for your family and friends to gather for years to come.

How long will my LUMACAST feature last? Is there a Warranty?

With the right care, our architectural concrete features should last a lifetime. Each of our products includes One Year Limited Warranty against defects in craftsmanship.

Will my LUMACAST Feature Arrive ready to go?

Your new LUMACAST feature will come with everything you need to have it up and running quickly. All fire features will come with rocks and burners, which are tested before they leave our warehouse. You will need to work with a licensed plumber to set up the final connection to gas lines.

What type of fuel will i need for my new fire feature?

Your LUMACAST fire feature will work best with a hard-piped Natural Gas line. However, we also offer an option that works well with Propane tanks.

How long will it take to arrive?

All LUMACAST products are made-to-order. Currently, the lead time from day of purchase to delivery/shipping is 3 to 4 weeks for a standard Fire Feature. Please note that this time may increase depending on the degree of customization you choose. Expedited production and shipping are available on request; additional fees may apply.

What colors are available? Can you do custom colors?

All of our products are available in eight standard colors at no additional cost. We are also able to do custom colors for an additional fee. You or your contractors can provide a color sample to us, and we will work to match that sample as closely as possible. We will then provide you with three sample tiles of our signature concrete in that color match before we proceed with the construction of your new feature.
